Add Wet Ingredients to Cake Mix: In a large bowl, add one jar of your yellow cake mix and mix in 1 cup buttermilk, ¼ cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla, ½ cup vegetable oil, and 3 eggs. Note: Using room temperature wet ingredients will give you a batter free of lumps! Beat until everything is mixed together. Add to Pan: Add a smooth layer of batter into 2 greased 8-inch round cake pans and bake for 35-40 minutes.
